Youth Ministry at Holy Family/St. Lawrence is based on the belief that the youth of our parish are already on the path to living their discipleship in Christ. They possess unique gifts for joy, fun, curiosity, creativity, love, justice, and idealism. Ministry programs are designed to affirm and develop these gifts in the context of a faith community. The emphasis of our activities is on having fun while being together, deepening our spiritual lives, and building and deepening relationships. Program goals are intended to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person, empower young people to live as disciples of Christ, and draw young people to meaningful participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community. We regard parents as partners, the parish as "youth-friendly", and the wider community as collaborators and resources.
