History: ALO is a group that was started back in 2005 by a group of local Catholic moms.
What is ALO? ALO is a gathering of Catholic mothers which provides fellowship, nurturing, and a sense of community for women.
Our Mission is to serve local mothers by fostering community, spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of our shared Catholic Faith.
What Does ALO Mean? ALO is a Latin word meaning to nourish, cherish, sustain, maintain and keep. It is pronounced ‘AH-low’.
What Do We Do? Meet monthly to focus on topics including prayer, children, marriage, social teaching, community, saints, and faith journeys. Meetings include a featured speaker, small group discussions, refreshments, and activities.
When Do We Meet? We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Holy Family Church in the parish center hall 28 Lincoln St., Essex Jct., VT.

6:45-7:00 Registration and Refreshments
7:00-7:15 Welcome, Prayer and Announcements
7:15-7:30 Monthly Ice Breaker Activity and/or Craft
7:30-8:30 Speaker Presentation
8:30-8:50 Discussion (Small or Large)
8:50-9:00 Wrap-up and Reminders
Details: $2 per meetings (October-May)
Childcare provided at no additional cost
Moms of all ages and years of experience are welcome. Bring a friend!
